See All ReviewsThe convenience of being open all week is fine and the owners seem like nice people, but I sincerely have to question their food safety practices. I was trying to order plain lo mein and was given shrimp lo mein. After returning with our incorrect order and telling them in no uncertain terms I am *ALLERGIC* to shellfish, they did give me what I first wanted, but it seems there was cross contamination when they prepared it. I ended up having to go to the ER almost 30 minutes later after having an extremely severe allergic reaction. I am literally writing this review right now with an IV in my arm in the waiting room. And this isn't even mentioning how subpar the food that didn't almost kill me was. If you choose to eat here please be incredibly cautious (especially if you have allergies) or go to a different restaurant all together. This is the first time anything like this has happened at ANY Chinese restaurant I've been to.
My husband got the chicken wings with pork fried rice and he said it was terrible. The wings were old and the rice had absolutely no flavor. The egg roll was also disappointing. He also found a piece of plastic in his food! The place itself is also pretty run down and could use updating, especially with the prices they charge.
People working there were kind enough and I really wanted to support local mom and pop businesses. However, the food was just terrible. Some of the worst hot and sour soup and egg-rolls I've ever had in my life. Portions were good but that's it.
